1.You may be online but all your messages are sent to your inbox than popping in to your chat window.
2.Sometimes your chat box doesn’t opens and shows chat(0) even if your friends are online.
3.You may be online but it shows to your friend as offline.
4.After you type a message and press enter your message is not sent, but it inserts a new line.
5.It keeps on displaying as your friend is typing even though your friend may not doing it.
Now you would have figured out your problem, these problems are mostly due to your server overload, browser problems, etc and here are few steps to rectify them.
1.First step is to use CCleaner to clean your system cache, clear cookies & history from your browser.
2.Always keep your browser up-to-date and enable JavaScript in your browser, if its disabled.
3.Change to other browsers like IE, Mozilla, Google Chrome etc.
4.Diasble the third party firewalls from your system which may make your Facebook Chat to
…work properly, by default windows firewall allows Facebook Chat.
5.Check for the addons or plug-in which you recently added to your browser, if that’s the problem uninstall or disable it.
